American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists

The American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics & Pedorthics sets the highest standards for quality orthotic, prosthetic, and pedorthic care. ABC certification, facility accreditation and mandatory continuing education programs represent the profession’s most rigorous professional achievements.

The Amputee Coalition of America (ACA)

The mission of The Amputee Coalition of America (ACA) is the outreach and empowerment of those affected by limb loss to help them achieve their full potential through education, support and advocacy, and to promote limb loss prevention.

The Dallas Amputee Network

The Dallas Amputee Network is a Dallas-based amputee support group that fosters an active network of people serving a wide range of benefits, not only by providing moral support, but also through a service-oriented source of information and communication for all amputees and family members.

Disabled Sports USA

Disabled Sports USA provides support and opportunities for individuals with a wide range of mobility challenges to be active and develop confidence and independence by participating in sports.

InMotion Magazine

InMotion Magazine is a bimonthly publication for amputees, caregivers and healthcare professionals. Each issue reports on new technologies and products designed to increase function and self-management skills. The publication offers peer support group information as well as personal profiles that spotlight the achievements and triumphs of amputees and those born with congenital limb differences.

The Limbs for Life Foundation

The Limbs for Life Foundation is a global nonprofit organization dedicated to providing fully functional prosthetic care for individuals who cannot otherwise afford such care. The foundation is also committed to raising awareness of the challenges facing amputees.

National Peer Network

The National Peer Network helps people with limb loss and limb difference across the United States receive the emotional support and information vital to a full recovery. Orthotic and Prosthetic Assistance Fund

The primary mission of the Orthotic and Prosthetic Assistance Fund is to enable individuals served by the orthotic and prosthetic community to enjoy the rewards of personal achievement, physical fitness and social interaction.

360 O and P is an online resource for people in the Orthotic and Prosthetic community to both learn and share information, technologies and their experiences with others. The site also provides the ability for medical professionals to communicate and educate directly to those within the O & P community.
